ESTABLISHMENT HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOVI

This is the important element to help Sovi maintain the leading position in the paper packing production industry in Vietnam.
Level increase of trade mark
In the time of 1968, newly established, Sovi is the first wavy carton paper packing production factory in South of Vietnam having the design capacity as 4000 ton/year. Recognizing its mission and the pride clearly of "a pioneer”, through many development periods, Sovi always focuses on building its image, reputation of trade mark, make up the best competition in the status that more and more foreign companies with big investment capital participating in packing production field.
In order to increase the design capacity, production up to 40.000 ton/year like the current capacity, BIEN HOA PACKING JOINT STOCK COMPANY has dreadless had a new investment in the processing lines, modern & complete equipment from Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Japan such as: wavy carton production line with the modern vacuum absorbing technology and with total capacity up to 400m/minute; print equipment line applicable for printing technology of modern Flexo from France. It is enough ability to supply the printing products in many colours, complicated, clear features, exact high, for the capacity 15.000 products/hour; automatic forming machine made in Switzerland as per the modern technology with capacity 5000 products/hour and having the automatic operation function, safety for the operator… Meanwhile our company has successfully applied for the quality management system ISO 9001: 2000 and assured the products quality to meet the clients’ requirements by investing in the measurement machine system, product quality control.
Besides, SOVI also builds and commits performing the quality policy of products as per the principles: The raw materials will be purchased from the qualified suppliers only; Supplying the clients with the only products having the correct types, quantity, quality and the delivery time as per the clients’ requirement. Meanwhile we always focus on training the company’s personnel with the professional skill for. With the purpose to lead Sovi trade mark to become a strong trade mark in the field of production and supply many types of carton packings in the zone and local market, Sovi always updates and catches up with the information of packing demand on the market as well as determine its position, market and market share, and the competitive opponents in order to have a proper development strategy. Because the special characteristics of this industry are affected by the transportation fees, Sovi determines the main markets such as: Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Bing Duong, Ba Ria Vung Tau. Besides company is expediting to open the market in the provinces of Cuu Long River Delta.

At present, Sovi has a team of long experienced personnel in packing industry; sales staff has their ability, experience and to be trained and organized for sales as per the industrial form, high responsible spirit, enthusiastic to the clients and to the job. In addition, Sovi free supplies the clients with design consulting service too and the delivery service to destination, quick & good in order payment. Sovi brings the clients a policy of reasonable price, high competitive. Mr. Tuyen says some more, after the event of equitizing (joint stock) in September, 2003, with the re-organization of the departments and strict innovation of working style of the company personnel, Sovi has been trying continually in order to be deserved as "The accompanying partner of the manufacturers".
Reputation affirmation
 With our determination to bring many types of the wavy carton packing, high-grade carton boxes to the goods such as: chemical cosmetic, food product, confectionery, beer, soft drink, shoes, textile, pharmaceutical product, construction materials, electronic products, wooden industry and interior decoration. So far, Sovi has become a reputation trade mark for the clients. The company has reached the number of clients as 119, among them there are clients who are Corporations, multi-nation companies, famous trade mark companies who are operating efficiently in Vietnam market such as: Unilever Vietnam, Kinh Đô company, Unipresident, Castrol Vietnam, LG cosmetic company, Cocacola, Vina, etc…
The average increase level in past years of Sovi has been reached 20%/year. The turn-over is always increased year by year, in which the turn-over in 2005 reached VND 195,750 billion and the first 6 months of 2006 the turn-over reached VND 95,811 billion. So far, Sovi is one of the 6 biggest packing suppliers in the zone. Sovi is awarded with the second labour honour by Government, and received many other prizes such as: European Quality Golden Cup, Famous Trade Mark Certificate in 2004 and 2005, Golden Cup of Dong Nai Tourism – Trading – Industrial Exhibition & Fair, COA Certificate and Win certificate – Win Award from Unilever Group. At present, Sovi is being considered to be awarded with Vietnam Land Golden Star in 2006. These are the achievements since investing in building Sovi trade mark during past 38 years and that is the basic in order for Sovi feels self-confident for integrating in the zone and the world.
